About Us

Green Insulation® Pty Ltd is a wholly Australian owned company that provides leading edge environmentally-friendly reflective foil insulation products for use in roofs, walls and floors for all types of construction throughout Australia. A family business, Green Insulation® was founded in 2008 by Ray and Elsie Stead.

In 2011, Green Insulation® commenced manufacturing reflective foil insulation in Meadowbrook, Queensland. Central to this bold decision was the desire to make substantial product advances, real environmental improvements and create Australian jobs. We are fully committed to Australian research and development that focuses on a brighter and greener future for all.

Ray and Elsie have been in the insulation “business” for 14 years, and were two of the early pioneers in bringing “Bubble Foil”, or "Bubble Wrap" insulation to the Australian building industry. They have a great understanding and appreciation of this industry, and believe it to be ideally compatible with their core family values. Happily married for 43 years, with 4 children and 14 grandchildren, Ray and Elsie firmly believe that what we do today will determine how future generations live.

Currently, we have distribution of our insulation products right across Australia which offers fast and convenient supply to the building industry. Products recently delivered to India are only the beginning of our vision of exporting new Australian insulation technology/expertise to near neighbours, South East Asia, and much further. This is a company poised to make a positive global environmental impact.
