Timber Floors

1. Roll out Green Insulation® on the top of bearers and attach it to the bearers.
2. Roll out the next roll of Green Insulation® overlapping joins by of 150mm (residential building) or 50mm (commercial building).
3. Where overlap is less than 50mm or 150mm (see note 2), use 75 mm wide reinforced aluminium joining tape (available from Green Insulation®).
4. With Green Insulation® in place, install joists as required and continue to lay floor.

Note:

1. Green Insulation® can also be installed on the top of joists perpendicular to the direction of joists. Allow nominal sag of 40mm in between joists.
